Here's how to get ready for your health coach meeting and what to expect.

Before Your Meeting

  • Check your internet. A strong connection helps you see and hear clearly. If it's too weak, you may need to reschedule.

  • Update your app to the latest version.

  • Try a session first. Choose your program, answer the questions, and do a session or two before your meeting.

  • Find a safe spot. Please don't join while driving.

  • Join on time. You can log in up to 5 minutes early. If you're more than 5 minutes late, you'll miss the meeting.

What to Expect

Your meeting is 15 minutes long. It may end sooner, but it won't go over. During your meeting, you and your coach will:

  • Talk about where you are in your journey

  • Set goals

  • Choose how and how often you'd like to stay in touch

You won't need to exercise during the meeting.

Frequently Asked Questions

How often should I meet with my health coach?
Meeting with your coach isn't required, but we recommend weekly check-ins to help you stay on track. You can also stay in touch by text or in-app chat.

Can my health coach write me an exercise plan?
No. Health coaches don't write exercise plans or give medical advice. Your program adjusts automatically based on how you rate your sessions.

Will I get a reminder?
Yes. You'll get a confirmation text and email when you schedule, plus text reminders 24 hours, 1 hour, and 10 minutes before your meeting.

Do I have to be on camera?
Being on camera makes the meeting more personal, but it's not required. You can turn your video off. Just keep your mic on.

Do I need anything from my doctor?
No. If you'd like to share a physical therapy order or other information with your care team, send it through the in-app chat.

Is my meeting available in other languages?
Yes. See How do I use live translation during my visit?

Under 18?
A parent or guardian must be present at the start of the meeting to give permission. The meeting can't go ahead without their consent.
