After each exercise, you'll be asked to rate it as too easy, just right, hard, or painful. Your ratings adjust your program in real time, so your sessions keep matching your needs.
Here's how to choose the right rating:
Too Easy
The exercise didn't challenge you.
You'll see easy exercises less often as you progress
Some of the easiest exercises are the most important, because they build your foundation
They'll still show up now and then to help you keep your progress
Just Right
The exercise felt good. It wasn't too easy or too hard.
You could feel the stretch and move like the person in the video
It worked the right muscles without pain
Keep rating it "just right" until it feels easy, which helps your program progress faster
Hard
The exercise was challenging but doable.
Mild to moderate discomfort is normal
Challenging exercises help you make progress
Never push through extreme pain
Painful
The exercise caused severe discomfort or made your pain worse. Rate an exercise "painful" if:
Your pain increases and lasts more than 30 minutes after the exercise
Pain spreads to an area larger than a dollar bill
A painful exercise usually means your body isn't ready for it yet. It may come back later as you get stronger, and handling it then is a sign of real progress!
